How the House would be won

September 7, 2010NHeck

Politico has a run down of how Republicans could win control of Congress and they include both NH districts in their analysis.

NEW HAMPSHIRE 1ST DISTRICT: Rep. Carol Shea-Porter appears to have stabilized after some very poor early polling numbers, but this seat is the more Republican of the state’s two congressional [...]

Latest Guinta Ad

September 2, 2010NHeck

In Frank Guinta’s latest advertisement he proves what critics have been saying about his record all along. In his ad he said he cut borrowing by 50%! Sounds like Republicans under Bush, “We are still exploding the deficit and borrowing more than we can sustain but its less than Democrats! Aren’t we great.”

Citizens to Frank Guinta: Release your bank statements

August 31, 2010NHeck

I was sent this link this weekend by a young Republican from the Seacoast and I agree with his message.
There have recently been a whole host of stories (WMUR, Union Leader, Politico, etc.) on a secret bank account which has been funding Frank Guinta’s “personal” contributions to his campaign now over $250,000.
Guinta denies that there [...]

DNC Violates NH Law

August 20, 2010NHeck

Evidently Kathy Sullivan is as good at protecting the NH Primary as she is at law. The DNC is now officially in violation of NH law.

August 10, 2010NHeck

No matter who wins the Democratic primary for the 2nd Congressional seat the Republican nominee will be facing a lobbyist.
For weeks Katrina Sweet has been attacking Ann Mclane Kuster for her work as a lobbyist here in New Hampshire. See here.
Swett has made opponent Ann McLane Kuster’s history of lobbying for the Rath, Young [...]

Mayor Gatsas is off to a very strong start in New Hampshire’s largest city. His efforts to reform education and improve the city economy are going well and we should stand up and applaud loudly. There are only a few places in the state where NH citizens can actually see conservative governance at work and [...]

Most Popular Governor?

August 10, 2009NHeck

We have heard over and over that John Lynch is the most popular Governor in the country. While it is getting old it is also absurdly untrue. According to Politico today, the two most popular Governors in the country are actually Republicans.

The most popular governor in America?
Last week, we wrote about North Dakota Gov. John [...]

July 24, 2009NHeck

Since launching her Senate campaign on Monday we haven’t heard a word from Kelly Ayotte. Has she begun to introduce herself to activists and party members across the state? It appears the first thing she did after hiring Bridge to Now Where Lobbyist Tom Daffron and Gordon Smith campaign manager Brooks Kochvar was to fly [...]
