Ayotte Statement on Business and Economy Forum
September 22, 2010Today, Kelly Ayotte and Paul Hodes faced off in their first forum of the General Election Campaign. Following the forum, Ayotte’s campaign issued the following statement.
KELLY AYOTTE DEMONSTRATES AT BUSINESS AND ECONOMY FORUM THAT SHE IS THE STRONGEST CANDIDATE TO JUMPSTART AMERICA’S ECONOMY
MANCHESTER, NH – Ayotte for Senate Campaign Manager Brooks Kochvar issued the following statement regarding this morning’s forum in Concord on business and the economy:
“Kelly Ayotte clearly demonstrated that she is the strongest candidate to get our economy moving again. Coming from a small business family, she understands the challenges that New Hampshire’s small business owners face. Kelly wants to end the big government culture of uncertainty Paul Hodes has created in Washington, and that came across loud and clear.
“When it comes to creating jobs, the contrast between Kelly and Congressman Hodes is stark. Kelly wants to unleash our economy by cutting taxes and scrapping burdensome red tape that discourages investment. Paul Hodes wants to raise taxes in the middle of an economic downturn and continues to support bigger and more intrusive government.”
