This afternoon Ray Burton announced the formation of his campaign for re-election.

Ray Burton Announces Re-election Campaign for Executive Council and Grafton County Commissioner

Concord, NH – Today, Ray Burton officially announced his re-election for a 17th term as Executive Councilor for District One and an 11th term as Grafton County Commissioner by filing with the NH Secretary of State for both offices on the first day of the filing period.

“These public servant jobs fit well together. I am able to access many programs of relief and assistance to the five northern counties of Coos, Carroll, Grafton, Belknap and Sullivan and I believe I bring a lot of common sense to the Executive Council table in Concord,” Burton said. “I love these jobs and work hard to represent the residents of District One.”

Councilor Burton enjoys the support of current and former public officials in the North Country.

“Ray Burton and I work well together on North Country issues,” said State Senator Jeb Bradley. “He has the ability to solve problems very well.”

Bonnie Ham, Woodstock Planning board member and former member of the NH House of Representatives said, “I’ve known Ray Burton since he was active as Chair of the North Country Council Transportation Committee. He loves this work and I’ll do all I can to see that he is re-elected.”

“Ray Burton is our go to person and works well with everyone,” said State Senator John Gallus.

Bing Judd, Pittsburg Selectman and Coos County Commissioner said, “The job that Ray Burton has done is outstanding. He keeps us informed and is not afraid to speak up and work both as a County Commissioner and Councilor to represent northern New Hampshire.”

“We go to Ray for all sorts of requests and I know he works hard to address them,” said Henry P. Mock, former member of the NH House of Representatives.
