Does CSP hate men?

Representative Carol Shea-Porter was recently quoted as saying that health care would be more likely to pass if there were only women in the House.  It is not smart politics to insult half of the state’s population, and she is paying for it in the polls.  Among men, she has a 30% favorability rating and 47% unfavorable for a net favorability of -17%.  Let’s look at how she does among men against various challengers, including the unknown Bob Bestani.

It should be noted that CSP does lead all of these challengers among women, but she trails overall.  While we’re on the subject, does anyone know why we never see Shea-Porter’s husband?  She does ads with her mother but not her husband.  Does anyone know why?
