Republican candidates to rally, meet Seacoast voters at Dover City Hall and La Festa Brick & Brew
New Hampshire Republicans are unified around principles of limited government, fiscal conservatism.
Dover, NH, August 18, 2010 – Local Republican candidates will gather at Dover’s City Hall steps on Friday, August 27 at 5:30pm for a campaign rally and tour of downtown Dover. The event will be a chance for Dover area residents to learn about their candidates for State House, State Senate, U.S. Congress, Executive Council and County Commissioner.
Kicking off the rally, attorney Chris Buck will announce his candidacy for the New Hampshire House, representing Dover, Wards 1 and 2. He and other candidates will outline a common vision of limited government, economic prosperity, and an end to irresponsible spending. Attending the event will be:
- Peter Angerhofer (for State Senate),
- Rich Ashooh (for Congress, 1st District),
- Chris Buck (for State Representative),
- Jack Kimball (for Governor),
- Catherine Cheney (for Strafford County Commissioner),
- Chris Sununu (for Executive Council),
- And other local candidates.
“This will be a great opportunity for the voters and candidates to get to know each other,” Buck said. “It’s important to be accountable both before and after an election. We’re going to meet the voters, tell them what we will do to put New Hampshire back on track, and answer their questions directly.”
Immediately following the rally the party will meet at La Festa Brick and Brew (300 Central Ave.) for a Q&A session with the candidates. All interested citizens are invited to what should be a fun and informative event.
