John Stephen Names Liz Christoffersen
Campaign ManagerMANCHESTER - John Stephen, Republican candidate for Governor, announced today that veteran New Hampshire political activist Liz Christoffersen of Hollis, NH will serve as his campaign manager.
“Liz is one of the most experienced and respected activists in New Hampshire politics. I am pleased that she has agreed to manage my campaign and help us build a great team and strong grassroots organization that will carry us to victory in November,” said John Stephen.
“I am excited to join John’s campaign because he’s a proven leader who will fight to lower taxes, cut spending and limit government. We need new leadership in New Hampshire and together, we will build a strong team that will help John restore fiscal discipline to the corner office,” said Liz Christoffersen.
During the 2008 campaign cycle, Liz served as the New Hampshire coordinator for former Senator Fred Thompson’s (R-TN) presidential campaign, managed Sandra Ziehm’s race for the District 13 state Senate seat and advised over 20 state House races in the Nashua area. In 2006, she managed Nancy Wall’s 2006 campaign for state Senate in District 12. While residing in Massachusetts in the early 1990s, Liz managed several successful races for Republican candidates at the state and local level.
For the past 19 years, Liz and her husband Michael have owned and operated a small business. She has also received many awards including the Nashua Area Federated Republican Women’s 2009 Woman of the Year Award. In 2008, Liz was selected by Senator John Sununu to represent New Hampshire at the Business & Professional Women’s’ Leadership Conference in Washington, DC.
