Unalbe to deal with their incompetence in dealing with the budget mess that they created, Democrats in Concord are discussing the possibility of “an entertainment sales tax.” Similar to the tax that passed in Maine,
The idea being kicked around would tax movie tickets, bowling, sports events, concerts, among other events. Those floating the idea believe it would raise between $100 million and $115 million over two years. The budget writers have until late tonight to figure out how to fill a $150 million budget hole.
Make no mistake about this, this is a SALES TAX.
