Trump: I am a smart guy

April 8, 2011conserv-ed

You know, I have to say that Donald Trump is creating some fans.

I am not one of them at this time, if ever, as he considers a run for President.

Donald has a belief in Donald first, master of business and master in the “Art of the Deal”.  He is perhaps a world class master negotiator, granted.

Is this what we need now as President? A master negotiator?

I think it helps quite a bit but it does not inspire me as one who can lead and have the nation follow.

Being a great President is one who stays connected to the people in good times and in bad.  Can Donald do that for 8 years or just for 4 years.

I want an 8 year president.  I do not believe that Donald will take 8 years out of his life at his “prime” to be Americas President.

Donald has always been about Donald first. Remember Trump Towers, Trump Furniture, Trump this and Trump that.

Further, I am hearing Donald, at every interview, repeat himself.  “You know I am a smart guy” he keeps telling the interviewer.

What is up with that? Is he using the Presidency as a vehicle to promote Donald Trump Enterprises?  Of Course.

I believe, Trump has no intention of running.  If you believe that he can run the Nation from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave for 8 long years, then I do have a bridge to sell you.

Donald, as of late, has been investigating Obama’s birth certificate and suggests that once and for all that Obama produce it.

Factcheck.org has investigated. Why hasn’t a smart guy like Donald Trump found this for pete’s sake.

factcheck quote:

“In June, the Obama campaign released a digitally scanned image of his birth certificate to quell speculative charges that he might not be a natural-born citizen. But the image prompted more blog-based skepticism about the document’s authenticity. And recently, author Jerome Corsi, whose book attacks Obama, said in a TV interview that the birth certificate the campaign has is “fake.”

We beg to differ. FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship. Claims that the document lacks a raised seal or a signature are false. We have posted high-resolution photographs of the document as “supporting documents” to this article. Our conclusion: Obama was born in the U.S.A. just as he has always said.”

Now Mr. Trump stop wasting Republican time with this dumb Birth Certificate silliness as you keep telling us you are a smart guy. I am having doubts already…
